THE TELOS FOUNDATION
The Telos Foundation is a non-profit organization (Charity Number 076365) created to facilitate the creation of education, lectures, publications, exhibitions and movie films that show the state of the earth affected by our built environments, our human attitudes and behaviors, and offer solutions to current human destructive engagement with the earth and other living organisms. We exist to show the inextricable relationship of Nature and humanity's built environment and how the two can be mutually beneficial to one another and how Nature is our eternal teacher to show us stewardship and accountability.
What is Telos
The word, Telos, means purposefulness or, the final purpose. The Telos organization was created in 1989 to help individuals reach their optimal levels of physical, economic, and social capacity and find their meaning and purpose in living. The Telos Foundation is a laboratory for the study of Nature as a tool for developing imagination, compassion, and accountability and develops programs, lectures, and project-based learning that seek solutions to the dire consequences of climate change, social turmoil and physical health collapse.
